What's Next...?

Indeed, the EARTH is spinning too fast! It seemed yesterday only when our ancestors killed their animal instincts and adorned civilizations sweeping across the world with an incessant renaissance from life in woods, to kingdoms then villages. The journey continued with the introduction of democracy, to socialistic and to the present corporate world.
The pre-industrial era which preceded the corporate world regarded only land, labor and capital as economic resources with the post-industrial era adding technology resource as well. Despite skeptics conceiting it was saturation, that unsatisfying human urge fired the information revolution discovering information as the most prized corporate resource having strategic implications.
Once this fact was realized engineers and technologist stirred into action to develop formal methods to plan, monitor, control and evaluate the utilization of information as a need was felt to manage it just as any other organizational resource like money, men, material or markets.
Information cognizance gave a fillip to information management tools based on the platform of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), with Office Automation System (OAS) and Transaction Processing System (TPS) already a thing of the past, giving way to Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Expert Information System driven on virtual information highway commonly known as the internet with Management Information System (MIS) being the most generic term which covers every facet of information processing. All this augurs well, with the future presumably to be fostered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This exponential advancement in technology and continual innovation has coaxed mankind to ask new age techno-mavericks repeatedly the omnipresent question “What's next.......?

Plea of a maverick soul

Once upon a time a man was trying to rein his thoughts that were running like wild horses grazing over the grasslands of his mind when he heard a very familiar voice cying. It seemed to him that he had known that voice for long. Determined to find out who was crying he followed the crying and found that his very soul was shedding tears in solitude.

He said "All my life we have lived together and i thought i was keeping you happy but why, here you are crying."

His soul pleaded "Since the day i was born you have entrapped me in the prison of words never allowing me to breathe in the free world of actions. You have always introduced me to your friends in adjectives but never dressed me in verbs to let your friends see themselves and form their own opinions.
You should not called me:
jovial, but see whether i have adorned a smile in adversity?
honest, but i have only spoken more truths than lies?
passionate, but was i willing to give my life for love?
atheist, i may not belive in god but i do acknowledge his presence?
I just want u to remember me as someone who may not have done things right,
but always tried to do the right thngs.....
